About 20.000 raptors can be observed from a single watchpoint each autumn/spring. You’ll see thousands of Honey Buzzards gliding south, all four species of European Harriers, Black Kites and many others. Griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures and Long-legged Buzzards have been observed occasionally in the past years. We also have records of Spotted Eagle, Bonelli’s Eagle, Eastern Imperial Eagle and Steppe Buzzard.

Accommodation will be at Hotel Bucaneve in Gambarie d’Aspromonte for 20€ per night. Accomodation expenses and dinners are covered by participants or their institutions, while breakfast and lunch will be provided. We seek both experts and beginners to support the long experienced field ornithologists you’ll meet in our team. To reserve your spot use the calendar form below, and don’t hesitate write us an email for further info!
